The weather has been so warm in the NW this Summer that it was only fitting to take these outdoor newborn photos of this pretty little lady before Autumn comes! The only time she would sleep was in her Daddy’s arms, but her gorgeous eyes made this a dreamy session nonetheless! Really, could she be any cuter?
I am just ooh-ing and ahh-ing over this adorable newborn. His natural smile completely brightened my day and I can’t get over how chill he was the whole session. There was the occasional “please go to sleep” moments, but at two weeks old he was the perfect picture taker and I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture his sweet face! Mom and Dad were obviously so happy at his arrival and I couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a morning. “The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts.” (unknown)
This sweet little girl was a DREAM to photograph. I doubt she was awake more than five minutes and I didn’t hear a single cry the entire time! AND check out her SMILE.
It’s such a treat for me to enter a home when a new baby has arrived. The kitchen is never in pristine condition, and most of the time Mom & Dad are extremely tired, but the home is so filled with awe at the new bundle of joy that it always puts a fresh perspective on life for me. Dishes can wait, cuddles can’t. Newborn sessions like this one are the perfect reminder.
And don’t you love her name? It holds special meaning to her musician parents and I have no doubt that their home will be forever filled with music and love.

Sweet Azalia is just 3 days old in these pictures and she couldn’t be more perfect! I was highly anticipating her arrival after our Maternity Session and she did not disappoint. I cannot describe the joy that I feel while having the privilege to document such newness. I feel honored and blessed to take part in capturing the beginning of this sweet babe’s journey through life and I truly am grateful.
