A Dreamy Oregon Coast Session // Cannon Beach Family Photographer

As I was driving the scenic Oregon highway to get to this session I was so completely psyched at the beauty of the day.  It was a bit chilly, gray and cloudy, and the PERFECT conditions for these Colorado natives to capture their Oregon Coast Vacation as a new family of 3.  I am a sucker for cloudy days–it’s the perfect diffused light and the PNW notorious green landscape always pops with such deep and rich color!  Brynn and Zach were such a delight and their 7 month old baby Ivy is the sweetest!  I was in awe of the windswept landscape and the coast couldn’t have been a more ideal location to show their love.  This place is so dreamy, and I love that this awesome family wanted to capture a moment in time in such an ethereal way.

Welcome to the World, Jory! // Portland Newborn Photographer

It was such a privilege to capture not only a handsome newborn babe, but also see a long awaited adoption dream come true.  So many sweet details with this wee one– from the owl blanket made by his Mama 3 years prior to the cute green pacifier that seems to be in every home photo (that picture is for you, Auntie).  I loved meeting this family and photographing a literal dream come true. What a happy happy day!

Baby Ezra // Portland Newborn Photographer

At one week old, Baby Ezra has obviously stolen everyone’s heart (including mine).  I was so happy to do a session with Jacqueline and her family again after our gorgeous Winter Maternity Session.  I absolutely love the character and intimacy that doing a newborn session at HOME invites, and this was no exception.  All the details-from the homemade hats, booties, and blanket by Mom to the playful rock-n-roll sessions by the couch–they all add to this story of familial love.  I am so grateful to be invited to capture such a personal story of happiness!

A Winter Wonderland // Portland Maternity Photographer

I can’t think of a more magical session than this snowy scene!   It was filled with a few little boy tears, cold feet and hands, heavy wind and feisty snow —which made it all so PERFECTLY IMPERFECT.   I was so happy that Jacquie wanted to do her Maternity session for her 3rd baby boy at Mt. Hood!   It was an adventure getting there for sure, but it was obviously SO totally worth it.
