My name is Carrie. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I am a wife to a rock’n cool husband and a mother to two rowdy children. They are my light and inspiration and fill my heart with gratitude as I journey this life with them. I love mint chocolate chip ice cream with a passion and any Jane Austen book ever written. I like to think of myself as a domestic goddess, a loyal friend, and a work of art in progress. I am also a big believer of friends-at-first-sight, which basically means that you will need to add me to your Christmas Card list because we are going to be BFF’s.
My approach is simple.
I like the natural and un-posed. I love to photograph the romance of relationships, the angelic entrance of new life, the bittersweet rawness of parenthood, and the tickle fights in between.
I am a natural light photographer. I feel that I am best able to capture you as your true self within your own home, at your favorite park, or in places that allow you and your loved ones to open up and feel as comfortable as possible.
I believe in family and the dynamics that go along with it, so I am always up for a snack break or a little play time to ease the formality that usually accompanies most photo shoots. I understand that life is completely unpredictable, so bring along the string cheese and be prepared to have some fun!
