American Tobacco Campus Family Session// Durham Family Photographer

This family is the cutest! A lot went into making this session happen (a sick baby reschedule mid-session, rain, and a handful of weddings we had to navigate around) but it was WORTH IT. We went to the American Tobacco Campus in Durham and it’s super cool vibe made for some fun backgrounds. Can you get over this little guy? He’s just too.much.cute.

Autumn in the South // Columbus, Ga Family Photographer

Having just recently transplanted from the the NW to the South, I started to think that Fall was simply part of my old life But look! It’s here! It’s colorful and even chilly! I met this sweet family at Flat Rock Park in Columbus, Ga. Their baby could not be any cuter–even with his serious nature we got some smiles. As Thanksgiving approaches I recognize that I have so many things to be thankful for and I think photographing this cute family definitely made the list:)

Trees+Water+Smiles // Destination Kirkland, Washington Family Photographer

I spent a weekend in the Seattle area doing sessions with my old clients and this family was such a joy to photograph once again! One of the great blessings of moving to Oregon is that I’m still close enough to make the trip back every few months. I love that this session captured the Eastside (Kirkland, WA to be specific) so perfectly–Evergreen trees, Lake Washington, boat docks, and a happy family. The views all around make me so happy to live in the Pacific NW.

Serendipity Session in Renton, WA

My MIL asked me last week if I would take her friends from Georgia with her to Seattle and give them a little site-seeing tour. We would only be there for one day with the long drive from Portland to there and back, but I said yes and we made plans to leave early Monday morning. On Sunday night I received a text at 9:45pm from my sweet client Erin (with the most gorgeous Maternity session ever) asking if there was any chance that I could come up to photograph her family that were all flying in the next day. Her last twin finally came home from the NICU on Saturday, so not only was her planned family visit perfect timing to the hospital release, but my happenstance to be coming at that very time I can only define as “Serendipity”. I feel so so so blessed. I mean, how much would it suck to miss out on THIS…???
