I had so much fun capturing this family at West Point on the Eno! It was chilly and we had a tiny bit of a hard time with an uncooperative cute little girl who shall remain nameless, but you would never know:) I love meeting and spending time with new clients and this sweet family became a favorite very quickly! Aren’t they just the cutest? Fall sessions make me so happy!

I am so beyond excited for Lauren and Andrew’s wedding this April! These two have the sweetest and most centered kind of love and it’s visible to anyone who looks at them. I love the small gestures I see each of them make… the sweet glances, the nods of affection when the other is talking, and the stolen kisses they were more than happy to oblige my camera with. We opted for their engagement session in the crisp Autumn weather to celebrate the beautiful colors in the woods they love so much. It was perfect, just as they are for each other.

This family is the cutest! A lot went into making this session happen (a sick baby reschedule mid-session, rain, and a handful of weddings we had to navigate around) but it was WORTH IT. We went to the American Tobacco Campus in Durham and it’s super cool vibe made for some fun backgrounds. Can you get over this little guy? He’s just too.much.cute.
I had the most gorgeous evening with the most gorgeous couple tonight. Wednesday and Nicky were an incredible joy to photograph! Be prepared for A LOT of smooching, folks! After our original plans got foiled (a wedding was taking place!), they were up for a quick location change and what was captured was absolutely magical. I love their free spirits-and at the same time how grounded they were in each other. Army life has made their distance a challenge, and so it felt a bit like I was watching a scene out of a romance movie once they were in each others arms again.
We arrived last minute at the Historic Oak View County Park and it was just as dreamy as everyone says. A quaint cotton field, white fences, huge Oak trees–I mean, what could be more romantic? After we parted all I thought was that I wish this sweet couple the most joy a lifetime together can bring. They represent what LOVE looks like so beautifully. Gosh, I love my job!
